Booking a session

A session is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us naming a date, time and location. Sessions run at a scheduled place and hour, usually several back to back in the last hour of daylight.

Arriving on time

Sessions are short and run consecutively, so a late arrival cannot be extended into the next person’s slot. Arrive more than ten minutes late and we may have to reschedule you to another date.

Payment

Where a session carries a fee, it is shown before you book and is due as stated at booking. Where a deposit is taken, it is applied to the session fee.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Tell us at least 24 hours ahead and we will move you to another date at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or for a no-show, any deposit paid may be retained — the slot could not be offered to anyone else.

Weather

These are outdoor sessions. Light rain and overcast conditions are not a reason to cancel and often photograph beautifully; we will let you know if we intend to shoot through it. We will never shoot in lightning. If we cancel for weather, you may reschedule at no charge or have any deposit returned in full.

Delivery of photographs

You receive the number of edited photographs stated in the offer you booked, delivered by an online gallery link within the timeframe we tell you. Editing is at the photographer’s discretion and in the style shown in our portfolio.

Copyright and how you may use the images

Copyright in the photographs stays with Floulex Studio. You get a personal, non-commercial licence to use, print and share your edited photographs as much as you like, including on social media. Please do not crop out or edit over our work, and do not use the images commercially or resell them without our written permission.

Our use of the images

We may use photographs from your session in our portfolio and advertising. You can opt out at any time, before or after the session, by telling us — see the Privacy Policy.

Behaviour and safety

Sessions happen in public parks and on public beaches, and are subject to those locations’ rules and opening hours. We may end a session without refund if anyone present behaves unsafely or abusively.

Limits

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss or another circumstance beyond our control, our liability is limited to a reshoot or a refund of what you paid, at your choice. Nothing here limits any right you have under Florida or federal law that cannot be limited.

SMS / text messaging terms

Where you have given consent, Floulex Studio sends text messages to the number you provided. Service messages relate to your booking — confirmations, reminders and changes. Marketing messages carry offers and news and require a separate, optional opt-in; declining them never affects your booking or your photographs, and consent to marketing is never a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled — in short, mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
